YOUR FILES TO US...
SUBMITTING ARTWORK
If you are preparing your own files for output, please use our digital file guidelines. All files can be uploaded to here on the form to the right.. It helps if you send along a colour proof of what your sign should look like just in case. A JPEG or pdf file is acceptable for that.
DIGITAL FILE GUIDELINES
-
Vector art is preferable for most forms of output, such as vinyl lettering and art. All vector files should be saved in standard (.EPS) or (.AI) Adobe Illustrator and should be fully editable for scaling, rotating, etc. Sometimes (.PDF) files work as vector files too.
-
Continuous tone images (such as photos) must have a resolution (pixels per inch) of at least 75–150 dpi at actual output size. In other words, we can't print a one inch .GIF of a monkey into a 6 foot gorilla!
-
Artwork does not have to be full size, but should be proportional to final output dimensions.
-
All fonts should be converted into outlines.
COLOUR MANAGEMENT
-
Please use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) whenever possible in order to achieve the best color matching with your file. Understand that color is device dependent and the same PMS color will look different depending on the machine and substrate material.
-
The die-sublimation system we use as well as the ink jet machines use four colour process and some Pantone colors are impossible to match, issues of that nature will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
-
Rich black should be used for large black printed areas using this formula:
C-100%, M-100%, Y-100%, K-100%. -
Color images saved as TIFFs and colored vector images may vary in appearance.
-
We will email you a proof before final output.
